Jason Martin is a visual artist and musician, with an art practice of live performance, video, photography, and installation. As a musician with a discography and touring history, Jason is a sound recording technician and producer. Other jobs include video production and Professor of Art at various institutions. In the past, he has curated events, made work, and managed independent art/music spaces prior to obtaining an MFA at New York University in 2010. Jason led multi-media performance troupe Brown Cuts Neighbors (1989 ? 2002,) based out of Schenectady NY's local Public Access television station, featuring countless members. He has an extensive history in community media and Public Access television as both a creator and teacher. Current projects include music releases on independent labels, and regular appearances in the New York City area as Power Animal System.
