Alison Carey received her MFA from the University of New Mexico, her MS in Art from Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, CT. and BFA from School of Visual Arts, New York City. She has shown at Michael Mazzeo Gallery, New York City; Roswell Museum of Contemporary Art, Roswell, NM; New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science, Albuquerque, NM; Mariani Gallery, University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, CO; Weitman Gallery of Photography, Washington University, St. Louis, MO; and among others. Carey's work is included in the collections of University of New Mexico Art Museum, Albuquerque, NM; Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, TX; Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art, Roswell, NM; Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, IL; and Kuanas Light Festival, Lithuania.
