Carl Kriss is a documentary filmmaker and Creative Director of Heartland Productions. He moved to Ohio in 2019 from Los Angeles to directed a feature documentary about the closure of the General Motors plant in Lordstown, Ohio called, Bring it Home. The film aired nationally on PBS and screened at film festivals. He also worked two years as a photojournalist for an NBC affiliate in Cleveland. Carl lives in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland with his wife, and producer, Margie.
