Danny Volk received a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Chicago and a Bachelors of Arts in Theater Studies from Kent State University. Recent exhibitions include Made-Up with Danny Volk at Screen Share at the University of Chicago, The Baby Gap, at Outhaus (Urbana, IL), Submissive Exhibitions at The SUB-MISSION (Chicago, IL), Lucchiche: Simposio di Videoarte at Ponte de Perro (Cararra, Italy), Closed at Demo Projects (Springfield, IL), Presentism at PARSE Gallery (New Orleans, LA). Volk has received grants from the Knight Art Challenge Grant through the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Akron Community Foundation Grant, DCASE (City of Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events) Individual Artist Program Creative Project Grant, Propeller Fund Grant, and the Mary E. Hofstetter Legacy Scholarship for Excellence in the Visual Arts from the Banff Centre in Alberta, Canada.

All visitors are recommended to wear masks and social distance from staff and other guests. SPACES is located close to the 26, 76, and 81 bus stops, as well as the Red Line Rapid station. Street parking is available throughout Hingetown, as are bike racks. We are wheelchair accessible throughout the galleries.
