GALLERY IS OPEN WEDS-SAT, 12-5PM | OFFICES ARE OPEN MON-FRI, 9-5PM
Artist Debra DeGregorio works primarily in printmaking and drawing to create large mixed media works on paper that often outgrow the page, resulting in miniature installations. With an interest in psychology, philosophy and humor, these works play with the liminal space between reality and the depiction of reality; the landscape of the interior described using a personal symbology of forms found in the landscape of the exterior.
Born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Debra DeGregorio has received a BFA in Printmaking and Drawing from Kent State University, studied Ceramics and Printmaking at the University of Akron, and received an MFA in Printmaking from SUNY, New Paltz, New York. She currently resides in Akron, Ohio, and teaches drawing at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio.
