Gina Washington

Gina Washington considers herself a child of the universe, travelling to many places collecting images, connecting with artists, and creating art by any means necessary. She has exhibited nationally and internationally and has won awards for portraiture. She is a founder of the Black Female Artist Collective and creator of Mateza Gallery LLC on Etsy. Additional collaborations include The Visit Arts Collective with Chester Hopkins-Bey, Kole Robinson Brooks and Loletia Wilson producing experiential projects incorporating music, poetry, dance, and the visual arts celebrating the Black experience.
