Hannah Bates is an artist working in glass, sculpture, and installation. Her work explores the fluid boundaries between the body, raw materials, and the natural world. She received an MFA in the Craft/Material Studies department at Virginia Commonwealth University and a BFA in Fine Arts at Columbus College of Art and Design. She has been an artist in residence at ACRE residency, chaNorth, and Sculpture Space. Hannah's work has been exhibited at RoyGBiv in Columbus, OH and Heaven Gallery in Chicago.
