We will share news about the upcoming shows soon--more to come.
Cleveland based sculptor, installation artist, and performer, Heather Molecke, has an extraordinary way of creating mesmerizing immersive installation experiences. Molecke earned her MFA from Louisiana State University in 2019. Currently, she is a part-time instructor at Cleveland State University.
Molecke's artistic practice is based on social alienation and the feeling of being an outsider. She seeks to show how the past persists and insists in our present, and how the present can be seen to influence the past. Gaming in this way with the arrow of time allows her to create a heightened reality, at once strange and familiar, a distorted mirror in which we nevertheless recognize ourselves.
