Helena Sarah Richardson

I work primarily in painting and textile processes – interlacing strings and structures, colors and textures – to trap narratives recorded from my dreams and what I see playing out in the world. I have exhibited nationally and in Ohio galleries. I have also been an Artist-in-Residence at the Cleveland Institute of Art and repeat Digital Weaving Lab Resident at Praxis Fiber Workshop. Originally from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, I earned a BFA in painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA in Textiles from Kent State University.
