Jess Hirsch is a sculptor living and working in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Hirsch's work investigates the world of healing and natural medicine through participatory sculpture. She is the co-founder of Powderhorn Kitchen, a roving school leading workshops on alternative health and object making. She received her MFA from the University of Minnesota in 2013 and has since been featured at Northern Spark, the 2013 Minnesota Biennial, Walker Art Center's Mini-golf course, and the Art Shanty Projects. She is the recipient of the Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant and the Jerome Emerging Artist Project Grant.
