Joshua Marks

Brooklyn, NY

Joshua Marks grew up in Buffalo and currently lives in Brooklyn NY. He has exhibited extensively throughout the United States in solo and group exhibitions, including at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Nina Freudenheim Gallery, the Burchfield-Penney Art Center, Hallwalls, Exit Art, Art in General, and Diverse Works.

His work is featured in various public and private collections including the Burchfield-Penney Art Center, Skidmore College, Gerald C. Mead, Jr., Bryan and Amy Hopkins, Steven and Cecile Biltekoff, and David and Marlene Persky. He has taught at Purdue Univ., and Buffalo State College, and done visiting artist jobs at Colorado College and The New School (Parsons), NYC. Currently he manages Screwball Spaces, an artist community, in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
