Miguel Rivera-Vera is a Cleveland-based Puerto Rican artist and studio technician at the Cleveland Institute of Art’s Fabrication Studios. He earned his BFA in Sculpture + Expanded Media from CIA in 2020. His practice explores identity, materiality, and contemporary sculpture, often engaging with the possibilities of materials and processes. His work has been featured in regional exhibitions, including his CIA undergraduate exhibition Timid (/｡＼) Boy, highlighted by the Akron Art Museum.
