Nancy Schwartz-Katz

Nancy Schwartz-Katz, born 1965, is a graduate of Parsons School of Design, Manhattan, New York in Drawing and Conceptual thinking (Illustration). In addition she studied drawing privately under the artist David Passalacqua. After spending her 20's working for the internationally acclaimed studio The Pushpin Group, Nancy returned to Cleveland to continue developing her own career in art.

For the past 17 years, Schwartz-Katz has specialized in Judaic art. Permanent collections include over 300 private commissions and approximately 600 laser cuts and papercuts and limited edition lithographs and paintings to individuals and stores across the country and Canada. Schwartz-Katz has exhibited at the Hallinan Gallery at Ursuline College; The Associated American Jewish Museums National exhibit of Ketubot; Cleveland's Guitar-mania-twice; Cleveland College of Jewish Studies and more. Corporate clients include Key Bank in conjunction with Israel Bonds; Jewish Community Federations of Cleveland; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to name a few. Permanent Synagogue commissions include: Anshe Chessed Fairmount Temple, Beachwood, Ohio; Congregation B'nai Jeshuran, Pepper Pike, Ohio; Tifereth Israel, Beachwood, Ohio; Temple Israel, Akron, Ohio.
