Olalekan has exhibited at The Kitchen, New Museum of Contemporary Art, Studio Museum in Harlem, The Soap Factory in Minneapolis, SPACES Gallery, The Boiler Room, the Rotterdam Architectural Biennale, The Drawing Center, and la BANK, Paris, France. He received a BArch from Cornell University in 2000. He was awarded a fellowship from the New York Foundation of the Arts in the category of Architecture and Environmental Studies, a H20 International Film Festival award in the category of Freestyle/Experimental film, as well as grants from the New York State Council on the Arts and the Brooklyn Arts Council.
