OOO

OOO is a nomadic curatorial collective. We are a loosely-defined group who collaborate together to create exhibitions of artists who either live and work in, or, have a connection to, the Great Lakes region. The locations of these exhibitions are not “art spaces,”per se, and only become art through the collective’s intervention into those spaces. This idea can loosely be defined as “heterotopias.” We look for disparate environments, and seek out artists whose studio practices complement that space. The exhibitions can take the form of ephemeral events, multi-week installations, files hosted online, and as print catalogues. We are a 1:1 model of an art gallery. We are also art super-fans, and in the tradition of fandom, we champion and support the artists we exhibit by using the platform afforded to OOO. The collective's current roster consists of Samie Konet, Nick Spolarich, and James Waite, who all live and work in Cleveland, Ohio.
