Rita MacDonald is a New York State-based artist working primarily in installation, wall drawings, and public works. Rita was awarded a WSW production grant for her artist's book Family, which imagines household objects as family portraits. Her work has been exhibited throughout New York State, including Homestead Gallery, Gallery Satori, Luxe Gallery, Ruth Bachofner Gallery, and Smack Mellon. Her work is in the public collections of universities across the United States. She received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2001 and her BA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1991.
