Tanya Kaiser (she/her) is a Cleveland-based experimental artist, curator, and educator working in installation, mixed media, and ceramic sculpture. Her practice examines bodily autonomy, religion, censorship, and institutional power, exploring how systems of authority are constructed, internalized, and resisted.
Kaiser holds an MFA in Studio Art from Stony Brook University and has more than a decade of experience across museum, gallery, nonprofit, and community-based arts organizations. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including in Brooklyn, Chicago, Alexandria, and Cleveland. She has also taught and mentored undergraduate students and emerging artists in studio, exhibition, and community settings.
In addition to her studio practice, Kaiser develops exhibitions, public programs, and interdisciplinary initiatives that foster dialogue between artists, scholars, and broader audiences. Her work has been recognized with a Creative Impact Award and an Impact Award, and she currently serves as Exhibitions Chair and Board Member for the Women’s Caucus for Art, contributing to national exhibition planning and institutional partnerships.
