Theodoros Stamatogiannis (l. London, UK; b. 1977, Greece) received a BA in Sculpture from the Athens School of Fine Art (2006) and a MFA from the Glasgow School of Art (2009). He was recognized for his novel approach by Bloomberg New Contemporaries (2010), the Fulbright Scholars Program (2011) and the DESTE Prize (1 of 6 finalists, 2011). He has received scholarships from Creative Scotland (2012) and Arts Trust Scotland (2012). He completed residencies at Flux Factory (Queens, 2012) and Florence Trust (London, 2014). Exhibition highlights include: HS Projects (London), Laurent Muller Gallery (Paris), ICA (London), A Foundation (Liverpool), No Longer Empty (New York), Transmission Gallery (Glasgow), State Museum of Contemporary Art (Thessaloniki, Greece), Museum of Cycladic Art (Athens, Greece), David Dale Gallery (Glasgow), and Artnews Project (Berlin).
