Zelda Thayer-Hansen is a Cleveland-born interdisciplinary artist working
at the intersections of textile, illustration, sculpture, performance art,
and collaborative research. Their works document the complexities of
fleeting, repetitive human interaction, trans-embodied difficulties with
binary systems in society, and discrepancies between habitual and
innate senses of self.
Zelda received a BFA in Sculpture & Expanded Practice in 2025 from the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University after publishing their thesis, Frock Logic: Directional Behaviors of an Annotated Body. Works from Zelda’s thesis are currently on view at the RAD (Robotics, Automation, and Dance) Lab in Philadelphia.
