Meet our new Artist Outreach Coordinator

Meet our new Artist Outreach Coordinator
SPACES is thrilled to announce that the newest member of our team is Jasmine Golphin, who will serve as our Artist Outreach Coordinator! Jasmine’s work at SPACES will revolve around connecting local artists to the organization through the numerous opportunities and resources we offer outside of our exhibitions and residency programs. Specifically, she will work closely with artists in Cuyahoga County to help them apply to the two new artist funds administered by SPACES in 2019: The Urgent Art Fund and The Satellite Fund.

Jasmine is an independent filmmaker and artist from Cleveland Heights. You may have seen her short documentary, White Box Listening Project, which featured Cleveland-based artists of color discussing their thoughts on equity in the arts. When she's not working on a creative project, she mentors high school students--most recently through the Cleveland International Film Festival’s CIFF2, an educational experience for female and non-binary students of color who are interested in filmmaking. No, she hasn't checked out that one show/movie/podcast/multimedia experience yet but she promises to add it to her ever-growing queue. Find out more about Jasmine here.
