Advance ticket sales were suspended Thursday, November 1, at noon! Tickets are now only for sale at the door the night of the event.

On Saturday, November 3rd, SPACES throws "Polkapocalypse"—the benefit party to end all parties (because this is the end of the world, after all)! All proceeds from the evening go towards ensuring SPACES remains the resource and public forum for artists who explore and experiment.

Imagine a barren landscape of crumbling edifices marked only by ghostly zombie couples dancing the oom-pah-pah, the haunting and eerie strains of a distant accordion in 3/4 time, and a pulsing, yet faint, electric light emanating from SPACES. Welcome to the Polkapocalypse!

Starting at 7 p.m. VIPs will enjoy an all-access backstage pass to a polka-dot wasteland. VIPs also enjoy a Buy-It-Now option on artwork all night long and get an hour head start on those in the Polka Party to ensure that they walk home with the prizes in their sights. For the rest of the evening, VIPs can slip behind the velvet ropes for catered refreshments, private performances, and to redeem their drink tickets for signature libations.

Mayan prognosticators, survivalists and undead accordion players holding Polka Party tickets can join the festivities at 8 p.m. for fantastic auction art, cash bar, finger foods, live music, and dancing until 1 a.m.

The party rages on at 10 p.m. with DJ Kishka rolling out beer barrel jams. Graveyard Shift ticket holders can also enjoy art in the 12x12 auction (a buy-it-now section where all work is $75 and 12"x12" or smaller; to donate artwork for the 12x12 sale click here http://bit.ly/polkapocalypse12x12) dancing and a cash bar until 1 a.m.

This benefit honors John C. Williams, former Board President of SPACES, animal lover, musician, art collector, and founder of Process Creative Studios. SPACES hopes you will join us in honoring him for all of his contributions to our region's arts and culture and for being an all around great guy.

SPACES is a 501(c)(3). Ticket purchases and sponsorships are partially tax deductible as allowed by law.

Note: Don't worry, polka music will not be played all night.
