TAG: Round 1, Big Reveal #3

Join us for the debut of Farewellcome, a new recurring event to welcome SPACES' visiting artists and greet/bid farewell to creative professionals who are moving to or leaving Cleveland. This series is intended to celebrate the draw of our arts scene and recognize the implications of mobile populations.

This time we'll welcome Jason Eppink and Thu Tran from New York City, as part of their third big reveal event for TAG. Eppink and Tran will give us some insight into their working process during the previous week, but not discuss their plans for the next week of work on their TAG projects. We'll also welcome SWAP artist Jake Beckman (Philadelpha, PA), whose SPACES project The Production Language Factory opens August 22, and Zygote Artist-in-Residence Jimmy Riordan, visiting all the way from Alaska!

Each visitor will be welcomed by a different member of the Cleveland arts and culture community, including: MOCA Cleveland Associate Curator & Publications Manager Rose Bouthillier, Guide to Kulchur proprietor RA Washington, artist and Zygote Press board member Sarah Kabot, and SPACES Executive Director Christina Vassallo.

Farewellcome is a quarterly roving event, scheduled to coincide with SPACES public programs and to take place at different venues throughout Cleveland. This inaugural Farewellcome takes place at SPACES.

This event is totally free and open to the public, but you must RSVP here: cvassallo@spacesgallery.org.
