Join us for the second edition of Farewellcome, a new quarterly event to welcome SPACES' visiting artists and greet/bid farewell to creative professionals who are moving to or leaving Cleveland. Expect spiked punch, good old fashioned confetti throwing, and heartfelt toasts that are partly roasts. We have invited an impressive group of Cleveland movers and shakers to introduce these newcomers to Cleveland and say goodbye to those who are leaving.
This time we'll welcome Cassie Thornton (Oakland, CA) and Jess Hirsch (Minneapolis, MN), who will give us some insight into their working process for the current exhibition, TAG: Round 2 and answer audience questions about their works-in-progress. We'll also welcome artist Meng Hsuan-Wu from NYC, and Chef Jodie Chavious, of Urban Farmer Cleveland's Steakhouse, from Sacramento!
Each visitor will be introduced by a different member of the Cleveland arts and culture community, including: author of New to Cleveland, Justin Glanville; Ohio City, Inc. Director of Marketing & Development, Virginia Houston; Editor of Collective Arts Network Journal, Michael Gill; and SPACES Executive Director, Christina Vassallo.

SPACES has stops from busses 26 and 71 right out front.
