What if this city was a mountain? Then we would climb it. Why? Because it was there, of course. Andy Curlowe has reimagined Cleveland as a mountain during his SWAP residency, and we are going to climb it. Join SPACES as we hop from rooftop to observation deck and scale the highest points of the city we call home.
On February 14th a daring band of intrepid travelers, led by Andy Curlowe, will move from Burke airport to the Johnson Court Building, where we'll see the twin peaks of Cleveland up close. We'll continue to the summit of Terminal Tower and spy a majestic aerial view of this city. Descending from the observation deck, we will land on the east side of the slope with a visit to the place where the whole expedition got started, Andy Curlowe's studio, for a glimpse of the downtown skyline.
Bring your camera, your mittens, and a warm smile.
Space is limited to the first 20 guests, ages 15 and older. RSVP on a first come-first-served basis to Bruce Edwards at bedwards at spacesgallery dot org.
