Latecia Delores Wilson (Sally) is an educator, director, artist, and mental health advocate. She believes, as Nina Simone said, “an artist’s duty is to reflect the times.” She is humbled to work with this dynamic group of black women, highlighting the fragmented stories of black women nearly lost.
Andrea Belser (Tituba) is a Performing and Teaching Artist from Cleveland with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Studies emphasizing in dance and applied voice from Wright State University. Currently, she teaches dance and acting to all ages with organizations throughout Northeastern Ohio. She works on and off stage as an actor, dancer, singer, choreographer, stage manager, and dresser. Recent performance credits include: Aida at Karamu House, Freaky Friday at Lakeland Civic Theater, Little Shop of Horrors at French Creek Theater, and The Casual Tree Ward at Convergence-Continuum. Andrea's awards include 2008 Best Actress in Cleveland and a nomination for the same in 2012.
Martinique Mims (Phillis) is a writer, organizer, and spoken word artist. She has performed throughout Cleveland for over 10 years. That experience has impressed upon her the importance of centering youth and local artists’ voices. She believes that education and art have the power to transcend circumstances. She uses the power of language to inspire change, uplift, and build community.
