It is recommended that participants wear skirts as Caribbean folk dance involves heavy use of skirt movement. The skirts can be below the knees or long (preferably) and loose.

We will then learn basic Afro-Caribbean phrases which will focus on grounding, core work, footwork, energy and dynamic. This is a time for joyful moving together.
