Join staff and artists as we ask questions about "art and justice in public spaces" using a self directed activity guide provided by The Monument Lab.
We will meet in Cleveland's Public Square at 3PM, distribute materials to registered attendees, and introduce how this activity relates to our current exhibition, A Public Trust. SPACES will provide a map and some background on a few key monuments, including: Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument (outside only), Reading a Garden, Marketplace/Meetingplace: An Urban Memorial, and the Fountain of Eternal Life. The afternoon will end in casual conversation around the questions raised through the activity.
With permission, SPACES will photograph and post participant responses to our social media platforms. Those who wish to engage this conversation on their own are encouraged to do so. You can tag SPACES and The Monument Lab when posting:

Visiting SPACES
Galleries are currently closed while we install our upcoming exhibitions.
All visitors are recommended to wear masks and social distance from staff and other guests. SPACES is located close to the 26, 76, and 81 bus stops, as well as the Red Line Rapid station. Street parking is available throughout Hingetown, as are bike racks. We are wheelchair accessible throughout the galleries.
