Part of Group Exhibition
The Emerging Art Workers Exhibition is set to be a group exhibition curated by SPACES' 2020 Programming Fellow Seneca Kuchar. It will feature the artwork of up to 10 emerging arts workers who will be provided a $50 honoraria. Arts workers include those who support and participate with the art community outside of their own artistic practice. This could be interns, docents, art handlers, etc. (paid or unpaid)
Art workers support and build the art communities. It's a kind of work that is difficult to separate from other parts of one's life and often the labor of it goes overlooked. The theme of the show will focus on art workers; the other communities they belong to and support; and the communities that support and shape them.

Dec. 5 deadline for open call application
Dec. 8 Notification of Acceptance
Dec. 13-18 work drop off
