To Those Who Nourish Closing Panel & Cleveland Print Room Property Inventory Discussion | August 17 | 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM | Vel’s Purple Oasis

The weekend continues on Sunday, August 17 at Vel’s Purple Oasis, one of the five participating farms. A Closing Panel and Boxed Lunch will reflect on the project's regional impact and share future directions with Cooking Sections. In partnership with Cleveland Print Room, the event will also feature the Property Inventory Project, a year-long photography and data visualization initiative that explores Cleveland’s built environment and its ties to both urban and rural agricultural practices. Registration is required for the lunch discussion.

Each farm has spent the last three years exploring alternative, regenerative farming practices, supported by seasonal workshops and technical assistance from SPACES, with generous support from Teiger Foundation.

A Stiletto Tilling Party at Vel’s Purple Oasis from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Sunday August 17, will serve as a final, immersive celebration of the community relationships which allows this work to unfold. With food, drinks, and music, the Stiletto Tilling Party will conclude this immersive weekend recognizing the various intersections between art and environmental sustainability in Cleveland, OH. This is a free event open to all.
