SPACES is pleased to partner with Art Therapy Studio to offer a free community Art Therapy group beginning January 20, 2026. This collaboration brings creative expression, connection, and emotional support directly into the SPACES community.

This weekly group offers a relaxed and supportive environment where participants can explore a variety of artistic mediums and techniques. Designed for individuals seeking socialization and peer connection, the group encourages creative expression, confidence-building, and meaningful interaction.

Each session introduces new art techniques that participants may use in ways that feel authentic to their own creative process. Members are invited to share ideas, offer and receive feedback, and draw inspiration from one another—cultivating a rich, collaborative experience.

Challenges encountered during artmaking are treated as opportunities for growth. Participants and the therapist work together to problem-solve creative obstacles, building resilience, and skills that carry into daily life. While suggested themes are offered, the group remains flexible to honor each participant’s interests and personal expression.
