Part of Partnered Projects
Appropriate for ages All Ages
We are proud to participate in Fall of Freedom, a nationwide cultural movement uniting artists, institutions, and communities in celebration of creative expression and solidarity.
Join the next activation on October 2–3–4, as artists across the country organize exhibitions, performances, screenings, gatherings, and public actions. On Saturday, October 3 at 1 PM, SPACES will host a public gathering featuring readings by poet and artist Storme Webber from her book Blues Divine. Following the reading, Webber and SPACES Curatorial Coordinator, Thea Spittle, will lead a community discussion about the value of our stories and histories in this age of governmental attacks on museums, historical markers, archives and other manifestations of memory. In a time of threats to our cultural sovereignty, we invite supporters of cultural freedom and expression to join us for this Fall of Freedom community program!
