Opening Reception: Chen Peng, Morning Routine, acrylic and oil on canvas, 2024

Join us in celebrating the SPACES winter season openings of two exhibitions featuring artwork by a Cleveland Institute of Art student and alum! Witness, a solo exhibition by CIA Senior Rowan Booth, is concerned with capturing an emotional response to the political and social turmoil plaguing our contemporary day. In Dogs and Chickens We Trust is a playful two-person exhibition featuring CIA '16 alum, Chen Peng, and New York-based artist Dino Takashi, which offers not a mirror, but a window peering through speckled glass into a fever dream: bird clocks combine with mountain-scapes in surreal wonder, and chickens wrestle to entertain an assumed preconception.

Mix and mingle with fellow art lovers, and enjoy a cash bar and snacks!
