What does "home" mean in the 21st century? Is it where you come from, where you belong, where you feel safe? Is it a physical manifestation that contains us and our belongings? Or is it a quest for a better life and a sense of belonging?
Home Again looks at the concept of "home" in a larger sense and invites the audience to question it through these videos. Home being taken away (as in Wonderland), home being destroyed (as in Missing Sky), home as being remembered (as in Women's Memory), home as it is redefined (as in Born into Exile and Signs of the Times).

Bissane Al Charif, born in Paris 1977, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Damascus University in 2001. Sabina Haque's work draws on oral histories, video performance, and hand-drawn animation toexplore the turbulent transformations of identity and place. In 2016- 2017 Haque was awarded ayear-long residency at the Portland Archives and Records Center (PARC). Cigdem Slankard is an Assistant Professor of Film, Television and Interactive Media at Cleveland State University.
