THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER

Danielle Andress (Chicago, IL)

During her spring (digital) residency, Danielle Andress is creating a new body of work including outsourced weavings, digital videos, and floor-based pieces. This new project questions our evolving relationship with social media and digital imagery during this time of social distancing and self-isolation. The relationship between weaving and computing are materially and conceptually combined throughout the project. Andress utilizes hand and digital processes to examine our increasingly complicated physical and virtual relationships in this hyper-mediated world.

SPACES is excited to present The Grass is Always Greener in our recently reopened galleries. Viewers may sign up for appointment slots below, listed under tickets. Your appointment grants access to all exhibitions on view during that time.
