Acid Rain is pleased to present "The CATopian Dream", a video relic of the project "Make CATopia Real" by Ben Kinsley and Jessica Langley. Make CATopia Real is a campaign aimed at the realization of a physical utopian cat park (location TBD). Over the course of a 3 month exhibition at SPACES, viewers were asked to consider their feline's CATopian dream(s) and to submit images, text, or other information to us for research purposes. Supplied content was collected, edited, and re-presented on makecatopiareal.com, with a new cat chakra opening up each week. The end of the exhibition was marked by the opening of the "Crown Chakra: Bliss, Understanding, Thought" and the presentation of a video of interviews with cats discussing their CATopian Dreams (with their owners serving as translators). Make CATopia Real is an ongoing investigation.
