Cool Cleveland | Anastasia Pantsios | January 15, 2017
SPACES Gallery opened its new location in the remodeled Van Rooy Coffee building with a weekend of activities, including a free public open house on Sun 1/15. Hundreds of visitors stopped by to explore a series of temporary installations in spaces throughout the building (and outside) by local art starts such as Jeff Chiplis, Catherine Butler and Loren Naji whose hollow spherical sculpture EMOH was parked outside. Experimental new music ensemble Zeitgeist from St. Paul, Minnesota performed in the large exhibition space, and visitors were invited to make signs and take selfies to share.
