SPACES Monster Drawing Rally: Drawn Together

Saturday, April 25, 2026, 5:30 - 10:30 PM at SPACES | 2900 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland OH 44113.

(Cleveland, OH)— After a brief hiatus, SPACES’ beloved Monster Drawing Rally returns in 2026 with renewed energy and purpose. First launched in 2011 and last held in 2023, this dynamic event transforms SPACES into a vibrant, temporary studio where art is created live and in real time.
In a time marked by upheaval and disconnection, Drawn Together celebrates reconnection through shared creative experience. This high-energy, family-friendly fundraiser invites audiences to gather around the act of making—bringing artists,
collectors, and community members together in one space. More than 80 regional artists will create original works across three one-hour rounds, working side-by-side in a wide range of media including pencil, ink, watercolor, wet-felting, acrylic, and collage. Visitors can experience the intimate creative process as performance, watching each piece evolve from concept to completion. As soon as a drawing is finished, it goes on display and is available for purchase for $100.
Event Schedule:
5:30 PM — Doors Open
6:00–7:00 PM — Round I
7:30–8:30 PM — Round II
9:00–10:00 PM — Round III
10:00–10:30 PM — Wrap-Up & Raffle Winners
Throughout the evening, guests can also enjoy Face-to-Face portrait sessions in the Lab—15-minute portraits for $20—as well as a raffle featuring community-curated baskets celebrating Cleveland neighborhoods and local businesses.
Proceeds from the Monster Drawing Rally directly support SPACES’ artist-driven projects and public programming, continuing its almost 50-year mission to champion experimental contemporary art.
Families are encouraged to attend and participate in the spirit of creativity and connection that defines the event.
Purchase an original work of art, connect with local artists, and support SPACES’ mission.
