Drew was born in 1951 in Chicago, IL. He has exhibited at the Islip Art Museum, the Weatherspoon Art Museum, Kristin Frederickson Contemporary Art, and Axel Raben Gallery. She received her BA from Columbia College in 1978 and her MFA from The Maryland Institute College of Art in 1974. She was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship Award in 1992.
