Elham Rokni was born in Iran in 1980 and immigrated to Israel at the age of 9. She now lives and work in Tel Aviv. In 2007 she graduated with honors the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, in the Fine Arts Department, and in 2010 she completed her Master in Fine Arts degree in the Bezalel M.F.A program.
Her work has been seen at the Ashdod Art Museum, Ashdod, Israel; Gal-On Gallery, Tel Aviv, Israel; Petach Tikva Museum of Art, Petach Tikva, Israel; Bezalel Academy, Tel-Aviv; In Between, Gießen VideoArt Festival, Germany; PAM Festival, Senigallia, Italy; Crosstalk Video Art Festival, Budapest, Hungary; Wola Festival, Warsaw, Poland; and the ATA Film & Video Festival, San Francisco, CA.
