Kristin Rogers (newsense projects)

Kristin Rogers (aka newsense projects) is an artist, writer, and curator based in the Cleveland area. His work(s) in these three disciplines appears in a variety of venues and contexts and his practice seeks to overlap and blur their characteristics-treating all three as coequal modes of invention and making. Rogers specifically uses content as a point of departure and proceeds, with tactical improvisation, toward outcomes that are often curiously incomplete and purposefully incongruous.

Sometimes spontaneous and readymade, sometimes steeped in research and process; his art and installations offer reflections on privacy, chance, loss, and humanity's ever-shifting relationship to accumulation and power.
