Jen Craun [BA in Art Education 2000, MFA in Printmaking 2003; KSU] is a Cleveland based artist who works primarily in printmaking, mixed media on paper, and artist book. She makes her art primarily in her home studio, utilizing several cooperative studios in Cleveland, including: Morgan Conservatory, Praxis, and Zygote Press, where she was formerly the Associate Director. She has exhibited both her print and artist book work nationally and internationally, and is included in dozens of permanent collections. Craun has 20+ years teaching experience, enjoying teaching residencies with Art House and Arts Impact, as well as providing educational consulting and coaching teaching artists. She has 10+ years of college teaching experience ranging from Art Experiences at Lake Erie College to Printmaking and Artist Book at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Craun loves the challenge of translating print, book, and mixed media experiences to students of all ages and backgrounds.
