Kenneth Marunowski is an artist and educator who lives and works in his hometown of Valley View, Ohio. Ken paints large, gestural, and often quite colorful abstractions and teaches classes and workshops at the Orange Art Center, Peninsula Art Academy and Valley Art Center. Recent solo exhibitions include a July and August 2026 feature the Cleveland Botanical Garden and an April and May feature at the John Glen Columbus International Airport awarded by the Ohio Art League. The artist will also participate in a 3-person abstract showcase at the Beck Center for the Arts this January and February 2027 and a spring 2027 group exhibition at the Shot Tower Gallery in Columbus. Marunowski attended Kent State University where he received a B.F.A in Painting, a B.A. in French, an M.A. in English as a Second Language, and a Ph.D. in Literacy, Rhetoric and Social Practice.
