My works are deeply influenced by my artistic exposures to date. This includes my less-than-formal training in painting with a focus on figurative subjects and realism, together with photography, cinema, and my exploration of textures and expressionism. My most recent works aim to utilize these visual languages to illustrate an allegory on the symbiotic relationship between consciousness, which differentiates us from even the most imaginative machines, and the physical body and mind, which allows us to experience the physical world and substantiate that experience through memories, desires, and the rest of the subconscious mind. Both forces possess egos of their own that are often in contradiction, yet inseparable to make us whole.
I am an emerging artist based in Northeast Ohio. My works have been exhibited at galleries of Case Western Reserve University and Kent State University. I work professionally as an R&D engineer and hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
