Michelle Murphy (b. 1981) is currently pursuing an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2004. Her artwork has been published and exhibited Internationally, including exhibitions in NYC, Paris, Geneva Switzerland, Chicago, Guatemala City, and San Francisco. She is a Professional Photographer at the NASA Glenn Research Center, Director/Founder of Micro Art Space (an artist residency program), and co-curates the art and culture online magazine MAKE8ELIEVE with Swiss artist/designer Cetusss.
Her work is featured in ARTfile magazine (NYC), DISCOVER Magazine, Buzzfeed, Art & Science Journal, DivineCaroline, SFMOMA Tumblr, NATIVE Publications, Maybelline NY Tumblr, and more.
Visiting SPACES
Open Wednesday - Saturday
from 12PM - 5PM, and by appointment.
All visitors are recommended to wear masks and social distance from staff and other guests. SPACES is located close to the 26, 76, and 81 bus stops, as well as the Red Line Rapid station. Street parking is available throughout Hingetown, as are bike racks. We are wheelchair accessible throughout the galleries.
