Robin Latkovich works in two-dimensional and installation-based media. His work focuses on phenomenological explorations of presence, absence, and the sublime, particularly as they pertain to the experience of place and landscape.
Latkovich received his BA in studio art with a focus on oil painting from Hiram College in 2005, and has since been working and exhibiting in the Cleveland area. In his work, Latkovich uses the landscape to explore themes of sensation, imagination, and non-ordinary experience. His work has been exhibited throughout Cleveland in venues such as Rooms to Let (2015), Micro Art Space (2014), Rotten Mean Gallery (2014), Asterisk Gallery (2010), Brite Winter Festival (2010), SPACES Gallery (2010), Ingenuity Fest (2009), The Pop Shop (2008), and Heights Arts Studio (2007), as well as RAID Projects, Los Angeles CA (2012) and GA/GI Festival, Pittsburgh PA (2011). His work has been featured in MAKE8ELIEVE art & culture magazine and on Pinkeyemag.com.
