Join us in celebrating our 44th year of making alternative art the best thing about Northeast Ohio.
On Saturday, November 5, and Sunday, November 6, 2022, SPACES will mash up our Annual Benefit and Monster Drawing Rally into a fun-filled weekend of monstrous proportions. The weekend begins on Saturday evening with a costume party, dinner, art auction, and dance party. Sunday afternoon we will raise our Monster Drawing Rally from the dead for a family friendly afternoon of art, snacks, and laser tag.
SPACES accomplished a lot this year! In 2022 we worked to bring 10 national and international artists’ exhibitions to life, supported an art residency, began our three-year long partnership with artist-duo Cooking Sections, and administered 42 grants to artists in Cuyahoga county. We were also selected to be the commissioning body US Pavilion at the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale. This will be the first an Ohio-based org will represent the United States at the event and we are proud to share this evening with the exhibiting artist/designers.
SPACES is definitely worth screaming about!
What can you expect?
VIP Cocktail Hour + Dinner
The night will begin at 5:30PM with a cocktail hour followed by a dinner, catered by Spice Acres, for our VIP attendees.
Silent Art Auction (5:30PM-10:30PM)
Local artists and artists from around the country have contributed work to our auction. Some of our brilliant and amazing friends whose work wlll be on the block during the event include:
DJ Dance Party (8:00PM-midnight)
Dance the night away with sounds provided by DJ Hama in The Lab. Hors d'oeuvres provided by Unique's Passion.
