SPACES presents its take on America’s 250th anniversary with a costume party benefit and curated exhibition celebrating, questioning, and complicating the stories we tell about America.
Just after the election, we invite you to come dressed as your America—whether that means critique, ambivalence, irreverence, satire, celebration, or something entirely your own.
The evening will feature a curated exhibition organized by the SPACES staff, bringing together artwork that engages with American history, critique, and Americana.
As an organization dedicated to supporting artists who bring ideas, passion, and critical perspectives to the issues of our time, SPACES invites you to join us in celebrating one thing we believe is essential: freedom of expression.
