Katie Hargrave, born and raised in Chicago, IL, currently lives and works in Hornell, NY. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Art History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2007. She received her Master of Arts degree in Cultural Production from Brandeis University in 2009, her Master of Arts in Intermedia and Video from the University of Iowa in 2001, and her Master of Fine Arts in Intermedia and Video, with a minor in drawing, from the University of Iowa in 2012. Hargrave has exhibtied extensively nationally, as well as several international projects since 2006.
