Rentals At a Glance - answers to all your burning FAQs

SPACES offers the use of our 2 Galleries and Mistake Lab classroom/conference space, totaling approximately 4,000 square feet.

Rentals Rates & Hours

  • Galleries + Mistake Lab: $500/hour (there is a daily rental cap of $3,000)
  • Mistake Lab ˆ la carte: $100/hour (2 hour minimum)

Galleries + Mistake Lab Rentals include a courtesy hour for set-up and tear-down at no extra charge. Any events requiring more than an hour set-up and tear-down will be charged for additional use, rounded up to the hour. Courtesty hours are not applicable to Mistake Lab ˆ la carte Rentals.

  • Gallery Rentals are available daily from 5 pm - 11:30 pm, excluding major holidays.
  • Mistake Lab Rentals are available daily 9 am-11:30 pm, excluding major holidays.

We are proud to partner with Marigold Catering as the exclusive caterer for events at SPACES. Marigold can easily accommodate your catering needs for weddings, parties, or corporate events with their Full Service Menu or Marigold To-Go.  


Street parking is available in the neighborhood. Local lots are available for your guests for $150 per event, per lot. Lot sizes and locations vary and usage depends on availability.

Other FAQs

What artwork will be on exhibit during my event? Unfortunately, due to the nature of our artist projects it is hard to predict what their completed exhibit will look like until it is finished being installed. Therefore we strongly recommend that only those truly interested in having art as the centerpiece of their event rent with us. 

Are we allowed to decorate the walls and ceiling? No, because we are an exhibiting gallery, we do not allow any decorations that could interfere with the art on display. You are permitted to decorate the Mistake Lab (Community Room) as long as everything is removed at the end of the event.

Are we allowed to decorate the bathroom? Yes, but everything must removed that same night during clean-up.

Cash Bar vs. Open Bar? Our exclusive caterer Marigold Catering will be able to answer any questions you may have in regards to serving alcohol at your event. 

Do we need to have event insurance? Yes, in order to host your event at SPACES you will need to add SPACES as a rider for your event insurance. This can be done through your home owner's insurance, renter's insurance, and in some instances, auto insurance. Please check with your insurance provider for more details.
