The Satellite Fund

SPACES supports artistic research and development taking place in Cuyahoga County through The Satellite Fund. This opportunity is part of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Regional Regranting Program, which awards grants to vibrant, under-the-radar artistic activity by partnering with leading cultural institutions in 14 communities across the country. The 2019 application process is now closed and we will announce the grantees in late July. Check back in April for 2020 application details.

The Urgent Art Fund

In 2019, SPACES accepted proposals on a rolling basis, from artists living and working in Cuyahoga County, for projects that are politically, culturally, and/or socially responsive. Five project-based grants, in the amount of $5,000 + access to tools and additional resources, were awarded from a pool of nearly 50 applications. The Urgent Art Fund was supported by Cuyahoga Arts & Culture in 2019 and we hope to renew this opportunity in 2020; check back for details.
